Hand carved in wood, then hand painted by a folk artist Wlodzimierz. Wooden toys have been made and loved for centuries across the globe. Birds, horses, cars, spinning dancers, just to name a few, have a long tradition in folk culture in Poland. Simple and beautiful, they were hand carved in local wood using traditional tools, then hand painted in bright colours and decorated with folk ornaments.
