There is a small crack in the collar above the cap

There is a band of marked thread at the 14" and 18" mark to help curb the the tales of 20" fish

Overall the rod is in excellent original condition with the exception of one of the tips being short by 4 1/2"

This is a beautiful light line Howells ready for small stream fishing

Nickel silver rims, pillars, screws, hard rubber side plates. 3 7 8" diameter (4 1 4" across pillars) and 1 1 2 to 1 3 4" spool width. Includes a faint stamping on the faceplate with says "HL Leonard Patent No." and then I think it reads 191813, which would be the Philbrook & Payne patent number. The four position sliding drag adjustment bar and fixed click works well.
