ea. 19th c Miniature Portrait of a Royal Lady by Emanuel Thomas Peter, Austria English Chest on Chest The support arm on theA Very Rare Wonderful signed Miniature Portrait of a Beautiful and Nobel Lady, by Emanuel Thomas Peter, born in 1799 in Krnov, Austria, into an artistic family. In 1818 he moved to Vienna to study painting at the Vienna Academy and was a student of Moritz Michael Daffinger (1790 1849). He rose to great esteem in 1840's & 50's when he made his most famous paintings. Including among Austrian Nobility. He died in 1873 at age seventy four. The beautiful
