Côte de Brouilly, Magnum, 2017 but well-integratedRuby red fading to a pale violet rim. Intense nose, with lots of plum, blackcurrant and cherry compote fruit notes and hints of black tea, mocha and treacle and dark chocolate. On the palate the wine is nicely balanced, being full, supple, round, yet not heavy. Really good grip and tannic structure, but ripe throughout with lovely black fruit, black pepper, coffee and spice notes. Full and firm, with an extremely long, supple finish.
