this mud looked like a school of fish because of the speed at which the mud was slung onto the car

then loaded on a car trailer and towed by a Datsun 1000 to Thirlmere

After photographing it I put it aside and forgot about it A few weeks later I noticed it had dried to a beautiful blue colour and an amazing texture

It was a combination of the shadow and the colours of the flower that made me think it looked like a horse race in full flight. It resembled "Chaos at the start line" which consequently became the title. NOTE: A copy of the original photo is included and is attached to the back of the artmount.
