In 1969, the teamed joined the Continental Football League (CoFL), along with rest of the TPFL. They also spent time in the?? Trans America Football League, and Southwestern Football League. The team won five Texas League titles, and were runners up in the 1969 CoFL Championship game. The Toros complied a record of 128 13 before folding in 1974.
