Each individual expression is hand crafted by the Progressive Hebridean Distillers of Bruichladdich on the remote island of Islay. For Octomore 8. 1, the Scottish grown barley is peated to a heavy weight 167ppm. Distilled in 2008 and aged for eight years in 100% first fill American oak casks.
