Cask No. 7.151 Heavily peated Date distilled: June 2008Cask No. 7. 151 Lebkuchen and marrons glacs Speyside, Lossie The nose gave us lots of sweet indications (nougat, chocolate fudge, vanilla ice cream, caramel), plentiful fruit (fruit punch, Starburst), putty, painted wood and laundry. The palate had rather more fruit, but also with big, impressive heat in it we got lime juice on mango and pineapple sprinkled with salt and chilli; the sweetness came through as Lebkuchen, iced caramels and marrons glacs.
