表情の良い大きな菩薩像です。時代と共に塗が落ちています。

表面は赤褐色を帯び、土の粒子や焼成のむらがそのまま景色となっています。縄文土器のような強い装飾性ではなく、形と土味を中心にした静かな佇まいです。

工夫し、夏の花いけなどでお楽しみください。
