編み方がとても美しく、凛としております。状態もなかなか良いです。

台付で隅切の形をした唐物の煎茶盆です。紅漆の上に色絵が施されています。

薄作りに、灰色に硬く焼きしまった肌。

瀬戸では灰釉や鉄釉を施した小形の壺をその大小に応じて小壺あるいは豆壺と呼びます。このような小壺類は天目茶碗の出現と軌を一にしており、いずれも薄手の精作で、茶入の初現的なものとして理解されています。
