須恵器 小壺 （古墳時代 3-7世紀）。

本品は、煮沸のための甕型土器です。

雰囲気の良い小ぶりな舟板古材です。壁掛けにし、掛花入を合わせて垂撥としていかがでしょう。

一方、須恵器は「ロクロ」を使って成形したものを穴窯で高温で焼きあげて作られるため、造形はより薄く端正に、そして硬いのが特徴です。ただし、熱には弱いため、主に食器・貯蔵具などが多く作られました。
