Theres one notable exception that I wont be including here, and thats any of the cat demon Rakshasa cards from the Tarkir MTG block and Mahadi, Emporium Master from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldurs Gate

Several notable cards use +1/+1 counters to beef up the board, including Herald of War , a 3/3 flying Angel that gets a +1/+ 1 counter each time it attacks, and it makes Angel and Human spells cheaper accordingly
